# Glossary

> Plain-English definitions of the terms you'll see in Enfue.

## Hiring

| Term | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Applicant** | Someone who has applied for one of your jobs, or whom your team has added. See [Applicants](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/applicants/overview.md). |
| **Open applicant** | Someone who applied without choosing a specific job. |
| **Stage** | A step in your hiring process. Every workspace has exactly five, for example **Applied** or **Hired**, which you can rename. See [Applicant stages](https://doc.enfue.com/settings/applications/applicant-stages.md). |
| **Pipeline** | A board showing every applicant in a column for their stage. See [Pipeline](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/pipeline.md). |
| **Disqualify** | Remove an applicant from the process, with a reason. See [Disqualify and requalify](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/disqualify.md). |
| **Requalify** | Bring a disqualified applicant back into the process. See [Disqualify and requalify](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/disqualify.md#requalify-an-applicant). |
| **Inactive applicant** | An applicant who has been disqualified. Find them with the **Inactive applicants** filter. |
| **Proceed** | Move an applicant to the next stage. See [Tasks](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/tasks.md#decide-on-an-applicant). |
| **High priority** | A flag that marks an applicant as urgent, shown as a red double arrow. See [Pipeline](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/pipeline.md#reading-an-applicant-card). |
| **Assignee** | The team member responsible for an applicant. |
| **Source** | The channel an applicant came from, such as LinkedIn or your career page. See [Applicant sources](https://doc.enfue.com/settings/applications/applicant-source-management.md). |
| **Tag** | A short label you add to applicants to filter them later, like labels in Jira. See [Tags](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/applicants/tags.md). |
| **Talent pool** | A named group of promising people, across all your jobs. See [Talent Pools](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/talent-pools.md). |

## AI

| Term | Meaning |

| **Match score** | A score out of 100 from Enfue's AI showing how well an applicant fits a job. See [Understand the AI match score](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/applicants/ai-review.md). |
| **AI Review** | The match score's factor-by-factor breakdown and summary. See [Understand the AI match score](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/applicants/ai-review.md). |
| **AI interview** | An interview run by Enfue's AI, using your [AI interview questions](https://doc.enfue.com/settings/applications/ai-interview-questions.md). |
| **Fil** | Enfue's AI assistant, which searches your talent pools for people who fit a new job. See [Talent Discovery](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/jobs/talent-discovery.md). |

## Evaluations

| Term | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Evaluation** | An interviewer's ratings, recommendation, and note about an applicant. See [Evaluations](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/evaluations.md). |
| **In Progress** | An evaluation has been requested, and there's still time to submit it. |
| **Pending** | The deadline has passed and the evaluation hasn't been submitted. |
| **Completed** | The evaluation has been submitted. |
| **Peer review** | Evaluations of an applicant by other interviewers. |

| **TalentSpike** | Where you receive candidates proposed by Enfue's talent partners for a job. See [TalentSpike](https://doc.enfue.com/hiring/jobs/talentspike.md). |
| **Talent partners** | Partners who propose qualified candidates for your jobs. Unlock their support by topping up your [Wallet](https://doc.enfue.com/payments/wallet.md). |
| **Public job** | A job shown on your career page. |
| **Internal job** | A job that isn't on your career page, for roles your team sources directly. |

## Your team

| Term | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Super Admin** | Full company control, including settings, billing, and admin management. |
| **Admin** | Manages jobs, applicants, interviews, and reports, for all jobs or specific ones. See [Admins](https://doc.enfue.com/settings/users/admins.md). |
| **Interviewer** | Someone who interviews or evaluates candidates. Interviewers don't use an admin seat. See [Interviewers](https://doc.enfue.com/settings/users/interviewers.md). |
| **Admin seat** | One admin account included in your plan. See [Subscription](https://doc.enfue.com/payments/subscription.md). |
