# Talent Discovery

> Let Fil, your AI assistant, search your talent pools and rank the candidates who best match a job.

**Talent Discovery** finds strong candidates for a job among people you already have in Enfue. Instead of searching your talent pools by hand, you ask **Fil**, your AI assistant, to search them for you. Fil reads each candidate's profile against the job and returns a ranked list.

This is especially useful for finding people who applied for a different role in the past, or whose CV doesn't use the exact keywords in your job description but who still fit.

## Run a search

    Open a job from **Hiring → Jobs** and click the **Talent Discovery** tab. Fil greets you on the left.

  <Step title="Choose the talent pools to search">
    In the **Talent pools** box at the bottom, select one or more pools. You need to select at least one. Learn more about [Talent Pools](/hiring/talent-pools).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start the search">
    Click **Search selected pools**. Fil searches every candidate in the pools you chose.

## Read the results

The **Talent discovery** panel on the right lists the candidates Fil found, with the total at the top, for example **53 applicants found**. For each candidate you'll see:

* **Rank**: #1 is the best match.
* **Name** and current status, such as **Disqualified** if they were disqualified from an earlier job.
* **Match score**: how well they fit this job.
* **The job they originally applied for** and the date they applied.

Click **View applicant** to open a candidate's full profile.

<Tip>
  Disqualified candidates are worth a second look. Someone who wasn't right for one role may be a strong fit for this one.

The footer of the panel shows how many talent pools were included in the search.
