# Applicant sources

> The channels Enfue tracks applicants from, and where you'll see them.

Every applicant in Enfue has a **source**: the channel they came from. Enfue records it automatically when someone applies through a connected channel, and you can set or change it yourself.

## The sources

| Source | Where the applicant came from |
| - | - |
| **Approaching** | Your team reached out to them directly. This is the default when you [add an applicant manually](/hiring/applicants/add-applicants#add-an-applicant-manually). |
| **CareerPage** | Your company's [career page on Enfue](/workplace/career-page). |
| **Event** | You met them at an event, such as a job fair or a campus visit. |
| **Facebook** | A job you shared on Facebook. |
| **ITViec** | The ITviec job board, an external job board. |
| **JobSite** | Your company's own careers website, for example through a [job form embedded on your website](/hiring/jobs/job-integrations#embed-the-job-form-on-your-website). |
| **LinkedIn** | LinkedIn, for example through your [LinkedIn Jobs application link](/hiring/jobs/job-integrations#receive-applicants-from-linkedin-jobs). |
| **Referral** | Someone referred them, such as a colleague. |
| **TopCV** | The TopCV job board, an external job board. |

<Note>
  **CareerPage** and **JobSite** are easy to mix up. **CareerPage** is your company's page on Enfue, at `app.enfue.com/<your-company>`. **JobSite** is your company's own website.
</Note>

## Where you'll see sources

* On each applicant, as an icon in the **Source** column of [Applicants](/hiring/applicants/overview) and [Tasks](/hiring/tasks), and in the [applicant header](/hiring/applicants/applicant-profile#the-applicant-header), where you can click it to change it.
* In the **Source** filter on Applicants, Tasks, and [Talent Pools](/hiring/talent-pools).
* In **Source Breakdown** in [Reports](/hiring/reports#recruiter-activity-for-recruiters) and **Hiring by Source** on the [Hired](/hiring/hired#hiring-by-source) page, which show which channels bring in the most applicants and hires.

<Tip>
  Keep sources accurate, especially for applicants you add yourself. Your reports can only tell you which channels work if every applicant's source is right.
