Tasks is where you work through the applicants waiting for you. Each row is an applicant who needs a decision, with everything you need to make it on one line: their job, source, stage, match score, CV, and your team’s comments. Click Disqualify or Proceed and move on to the next. Open Tasks from the main menu.

Your tasks are ready when you open the page

Tasks opens with filters already set for you, the same for every user:
  • Assignees: you, so you only see the applicants assigned to you.
  • Stages: the four stages where applicants are waiting for you to act on them.
  • Filters: a few filters, including Active applicants, so disqualified applicants stay out of the way.
Work down the list until it’s empty. You can change or clear any filter, for example to cover a colleague’s applicants while they’re away.

Decide on an applicant

Every row has two buttons in the Action column:

Schedule interviews as you go

Turn on Require Appointment at the top right to schedule an interview every time you move an applicant forward. When it’s on, clicking Proceed, for example from your first stage to your second, automatically opens the appointment window so you can book the interview straight away. See Schedule an interview.
Keep Require Appointment on while you’re moving applicants into an interview stage. Nobody ends up in an interview stage without an interview booked.
Above the buttons are six quick actions, from left to right: Preview the applicant in a side panel, open their full profile, schedule an interview, evaluate them, request an evaluation, and email them. They work the same way as on the Applicants page.

The task list

Click a column heading to sort by it. The count at the top right, for example 10/33 applicants, shows how many applicants match your filters out of the total.

Filter your tasks

Narrow the list with Search, Jobs, Stages, and Assignees. The number on a button shows how many options are ticked in it, for example Stages 4 or Assignees 1. Click Clear all to remove every filter. Click Filters for more options:
  • Active applicants, Inactive applicants, Flagged applicants, and Applicants with evaluations.
  • Updates: applicants updated Today, in the Last 3d, or in the Last 7d.
  • Tags: applicants with a particular tag.
  • Source: where applicants came from, such as Approaching, CareerPage, Event, Facebook, ITViec, JobSite, or LinkedIn.
  • Due: applicants by how long it’s been since they were created, compared with today. Use it to find the applicants who have been waiting longest.
  • Applied Duration and Updated Duration: applicants who applied, or were last updated, between two dates.
To catch up after a few days away, set Updates to Last 3d to see what changed, then use Due to find anyone who has been waiting too long.
