Messenger is Enfue’s built-in chat. If a candidate has an Enfue account, you can message them right here instead of on WhatsApp, Zalo, or LinkedIn. Every chat stays next to the rest of the candidate’s application, so your team never has to hunt through personal phones or other apps to see what was said.
Open Messenger from the main menu.
You can only chat with candidates who have an Enfue account. To reach anyone else, send them an email from the Inbox.
How Messenger is laid out
- On the left: every chat, with the candidate’s name, the start of the last message, and how long ago it was sent.
- On the right: the selected chat, with the candidate’s name at the top and the messages below. Messages from your team appear on the right, with your company’s logo.
Send a message
- Click a chat on the left to open it.
- Type in Type a message at the bottom.
- Click the send button.
To start a chat with someone new, click the compose icon next to the Messenger title.
To see everything about the candidate, click View profile at the top of the chat. You can also chat with a candidate from the Communication section of their applicant profile.
Messenger or Inbox?
A short chat message is a good nudge after an important email, for example to let a candidate know their offer is waiting in their inbox.
