Every applicant gets an AI Review: a match score out of 100 that shows how well they fit the job, a breakdown of where the score comes from, and a short summary written by AI. It helps you decide who to look at first, especially when a job attracts hundreds of applicants.

Where you’ll see the match score

  • As a colored bar in the Match Score column of Applicants and Tasks.
  • In a circle on each applicant card on mobile.
  • In the Evaluations section of the applicant profile, and as a label next to the applicant’s name, for example 45% Low Match.
  • On the evaluation page, so interviewers see it too. See Evaluations.
A dash instead of a score means the applicant hasn’t been scored yet.

What the score is made of

The match score adds up five factors. Expand the AI Review to see them on a chart and as a Factor breakdown: Below the breakdown, the AI summary explains the applicant’s strengths and any gaps in a few sentences.
The score is only as good as the job description. Add the required skills and a clear description when you create the job, so the AI knows what to look for.

Use it well

  • Sort by match score to review the strongest applicants first.
  • Read the breakdown, not just the number. An applicant with a low Skills Match but full marks for Relevant Experience may still be worth a call.
  • Combine it with your team’s judgment. The score helps you prioritize; your interviewers’ evaluations decide.
AI scores can miss context a person would notice, such as a career change or transferable skills. Always review the CV before disqualifying someone.
